How long do you hold orders?

We hold orders for 2 weeks from the date the order was placed. We encourage retailers to order from the current availability and receive the order within the same week if possible. This ensures that the plants meet quality standards and have 1 to 2 weeks of shelf life.

Can I come tour the nursery?

Yes, we can set up a tour. Please call or email sales@plantworksnursery.com to schedule.

Can I mix flats?

No, we are not able to offer mixed flats. Our flats are sold as full flats unless it is the end of the crop and only a partial flat remains.

Do you close for lunch?

No, we do not close for lunch. Our employees have staggered lunches so that we can continue to serve pick up customers. Be patient if you do arrive between noon and 1pm as our available pick up crew is smaller.

Do I need an appointment to pick up my order?

No appointment is required to pick up your order. During peak seasons we can have multiple customers here at the same time, so calling ahead to let us know you are on the way will get you in the queue for our next available puller. We do not pre-pull orders, so please be patient if multiple people are here at once as we have a limited pick up pull crew.

May I walk through the greenhouses to pick out my plants?

No, we do not allow customers to walk the nursery. We have a lot going on around the nursery and want to keep everyone safe. And, some of what you see is already booked and not available. We do have pictures of our top picks highlighted weekly on the website as well as have a display at the front office to showcase some of our plant material. We have high quality standards and will share any notes if anything you request doesn't meet them.
