Plantworks Nursery was founded in 1978, by Douglas Chapman in his backyard in North Carolina. Plantworks is celebrating over 48 years of Green Industry participation. We are located in beautiful Rougemount, NC with a 40 acre farm, 5.5 acres of greenhouses and a total of 172 greenhouses. Dana Massey transitioned into ownership in July 2017 from the Head Annual Grower position where she began in 2009.

Plantworks is exlusively a wholesale supplier of herbaceous plants to the industry.  We offer a wide range of annuals, daylilies, ferns, groundcovers, herbs, hosta, ornamental grasses, perennials, succulents, tropicals and vines. Plantworks is growing neonicotinoid free.
